What neighborhood has a character that can only be found in your city, and at the same time is remarkably different from anything else found in the same city? I think people can get the point in five photos also. We don't need someone to take a picture of every single building within the neighborhood. Thank you. For Chicago, I nominate Pilsen, in the Lower West Side. The buildings have an Eastern-European influenced flair to them that extends from the residential streets to the commercial boulevards. Its also unique in Chicago for the fact that it has a relative lack of trees compared to other neighborhoods with lush canopies. > |
