The Chicago Flag

As a native Chicagoan, I've always had a warm feeling towards our city's flag. At college, I even had one on my walls. All of my friends from other parts of the country/world thought this was rather odd. Question is, is Chicago alone in this way, ie having a flag that virtually all of its citizens are aware of? >
