Best Nightlife in the Rust-Belt?

So, which 'rust-belt' city has the best nightlife (in terms of clubs for the young, rather than bars for crusty old gents)? The only rust-belt cities I'm currently aware of are Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Detroit. (what do you think of those cities, any good?) Ta very much.>
